Archie McLeod

Archibald M. "Archie" McLeod was a Scottish footballer who played in the forward position.
McLeod signed for Partick Thistle from Parkhead Juniors in August 1933, and made three appearances, scoring twice, in the 1933–34 Scottish First Division before joining Derry City.
==Career==
McLeod left for Ireland in 1932 to pursue his footballing career and was also capped for the Scotland Juniors team. In the 1934–35 Irish League season, he was the top goal-scorer for Derry City, netting 57 times, a record that still stands today. That season he also helped the team to Dunville Cup triumph.〔(Team photograph ) - Belfast Telegraph〕 He also played for Partick Thistle.
An injury ended his career and he returned home to Glasgow where he worked as a machinist with John Brown & Company.
